The Foundation regularly organises international and national congresses and symposia in order to support the exchange of science and thereby promote research.

 

Tinnitussymposium 2019 in Berlin

The annual Tinnitussymposium is organized by the Tinnituszentrum Charité in collaboration with the German Tinnitus and Hearing Foundation Charité. Scientist from all over the world present the latest results in international research.

The event will also host the first meeting of the new European Network for Tinnitus Self-Help (EUTINNET).

Inner Ear Biology-Workshop (IEB) 2018

The first Inner Ear Biology meeting took place in Nov. 6-7, 1964. It was organized by Prof. S. Rauch and Prof. A. Meyer zu Gottesberge in Düsseldorf, Germany. This was 7 years before the first Society of Neuroscience meeting and 12 years before the first meeting of the Association for Research in Otolaryngology took place. Invited  speakers  cover  the field of  cochlear  morphology, drug delivery, regeneration of the inner ear, biohybrid and active cochlear implants, middle ear implants and endolymph production and resorption. Elected president of IEB18 is Prof. Dr. med. Birgit Mazurek. The workshop takes place in Berlin, 6. – 8. September 2018.
