Berlin, 10 March 2017 – To raise the awareness of tinnitus, the American Tinnitus Association (ATA) organized the global “Tinnitus Awareness Week” between February 6-22. This year, the ATA called upon affected people from all over the world to share their experiences with tinnitus and current treatment methods. And the German Tinnitus Foundation Charité supported this initiative!
Berlin, 13 January 2014 –From 21 to 24 May 2014, the German Tinnitus Foundation Charité will be hosting the “XI International Tinnitus Seminar” in the scientific metropolis Berlin. More than 500 tinnitus scientists from around the world will be attending the conference to discuss the latest research results and debate about the widespread but still only minimally researched disease. The conference is under the patronage of the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit.

Chinese Star Pianist Becomes Ambassador of the Foundation
Berlin, January 2013 – The German Tinnitus Foundation Charité has gained another prominent supporter: the star pianist Li Yundi. Along with the 12 Cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and DJs Sven Väth and Marusha, Li Yundi has agreed to act as ambassador to promote the aims of the foundation: the prevention, research, and therapy of tinnitus.

Berlin, 23 November 2012 – On 19 November the German Tinnitus Foundation Charité presented itself at the 5th Berlin Foundation Day in the Red City Hall. Together with 70 other foundations, it informed interested visitors and tinnitus sufferers about its goals and functions.
Successful launch of first education campaign against tinnitus. Berlin, 30 July 2012 – The start of the first education and information campaign of the German Tinnitus Foundation Charité at the third Berlin Summer Rave 2012 on 21 July was a great success. Under the motto “I hear something you can't hear” the foundation drew young people's attention to the problem of tinnitus.
Successful Auction of a Porsche Tractor of the Berliner Volksbank Berlin, 10 May 2012 – The auction of the red Porsche tractor “Felix-Hermann” by the Berliner Volksbank ended on 3 May with a great success: the proceeds of € 17,056 went to the German Tinnitus Foundation Charité and will help fund the education campaign “Youth Against Tinnitus.” At 2 p.m. on Saturday, 12 May, the cheque was presented to the foundation on the main open air stage at the 25th Oldtimer Days in Berlin-Moabit.
